Community Knitting
     

If you're new at knitting or you've been knitting for some time now, come into Stitch'n Hook and knit along with us.

Everyone helps each other as well as socialize. We offer FREE coffee and tea everyday!

  
     
Classes    
Learn To Knit or Crochet Workshops!

The fee of $50.00 is for both Class I and Class II.
You must schedule Class II when you sign up for Class I.

CLASS FEE IS NON-REFUNDABLE

Class I Knit: Learn to cast on, bind off, the knit and purl stitch, change colors. Suggested follow-up project: Stochkenette Striped Scarf
Class I Crochet: Learn to chain, the single crochet and double crochet stitch. Suggested project: scarf
 
Class II Knit: Learn to weave pieces together, increase, decrease, yarn overs, pick up stitches. Suggested follow-up project: Triangle Scarf/Shawllette
Class II Crochet:Experience the half-double, treble, cluster and bobbles and how to change colors. Suggested project: Granny Square Afghan


Learn to Knit classes are scheduled individually per a mutually agreed upon schedule. You must schedule and complete Class I before scheduling Class II. Please contact Stitch'n Hook today to schedule your Learn to Knit course!

Class size is limited therefore a non-refundable class fee must be paid in advance to guarantee your space. When possible, make up classes can be arranged when needed if on a timely basis. Class fees do not include yarn and supplies needed for project unless otherwise stated. All necessary yarn needed for project must be purchased through Stitch N Hook with a 15% discount.
Please bring basic knitting and crochet tools (scissors, stitch markers, ruler, darning needle, stitch holders, stitch gauge) and assortment of needles for gauge.
Minimum class size is required.
